据德国RTL电视台报道，法国农民封锁该国西部街道，要求当局采取措施提高农产品收购价格。

抗议者其中一项要求是希望法国当局同俄罗斯达成取消食品禁运协议。法国前农业、食品、渔业、农村事务及土地整治部部长布鲁诺•勒梅尔相信，扩大销售市场能够改善法国乳制品及肉类制品生产厂商的状况，他认为，在这种情况下俄罗斯作为法国的贸易伙伴也可从中获益。勒梅尔认为，目前的情况是由"其他外交问题上的斗争"造成的。
